The ALEXA 35 Back Plate is a lightweight replacement for the original battery mounting plate, designed to reduce camera body weight and provide a versatile platform for custom rigging.
Installed directly onto the rear of the ARRI ALEXA 35 body using the existing three M4 mounting points, the Back Plate opens up new possibilities for compact, lightweight camera configurations. Its cheeseplate design provides multiple mounting options for essential camera accessories, giving 1st ACs the flexibility to build a camera package around the demands of the shot.
Ideal for lightweight handheld setups, DJI Ronin builds, remote heads and specialist camera rigs, the Back Plate helps minimise unnecessary weight and bulk while maintaining the flexibility needed on set.
